2010 Common wealth Games are scheduled to be held in Delhi, between 3 October and 14 October. In the recently concluded world cup soccer match, Sakira’s ‘Waka Waka’ was the theme song and it became a big hit among the fans. In the same line, committee of the Commonwealth Games have asked AR Rahman to compose a theme song.
He presented the score to the committee and it has been approved as the official theme song for this year common wealth games.
The song will be directed by Shyam Benegal and produced by Bharat Bala. In general, Indians don’t lean to any other sport apart from cricket. Let’s see how this theme song will convince people to spare time for common wealth games.
