India based mobile phone makers Lava Mobiles has unveiled the first phone across the world that includes the rupee symbol.

The latest phone is none other than recently introduced Lava B5 popular for its ABCDE (alpha) keypad. The new version of the handset will boast off with the Indian Rupee symbol.

“We took this as challenge to ensure that Indians can type Rupee symbol long before than the anticipated time. Around the occasion of Independence Day announcing the incorporation of Rupee symbol in the mobile keypad will be a tribute from Lava family to the entire nation.
