If you are planning to give a new, appealing look to your house, especially its interiors, INARCON – interiors, architecture and construction exhibition – might be the right place to get ideas.
The three-day expo opened at Chennai Trade Centre here on Friday(22 Oct 2010).
It is being organised by the Builders Association of India, Southern Centre; Tamil Nadu Chapter of the Indian Institute of Architects and the Chennai Chapter of the Institute of Indian Interior Designers.
About 60 exhibitors are displaying their products.
Range of equipment
A range of security equipment including digital video recorders, biometric finger identifiers and video door phones, bubble guard sheets for floor protection, thematic wall panels, autumn and sunshine lights to suit different moods form part of the display.
A musical sauna bath-tub with a massager, fitted with sixteen different shower jets and stylish faucets in a tempered glass cabin is among the attractions.
Solar heating systems
Other exhibits include pumps, stainless steel structures, granite and marbles tiles, energy efficient air conditioners, adhesives and solar heating systems.
This is a converging platform for architects, interior designers, promoters, builders and customers to acquaint themselves with the potential possibilities of design and get an overview of the various choices, said B. Swaminathan, President and CEO, Smart Expos.
The exhibition is open till October 24, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
