The Asian Awards ceremony took place on October 26 in London. The awards recognize and reward achievement across 11 categories that include business, philanthropy, entertainment, culture and sport.
India’s cricketer Sachin Tendulkar winning the Outstanding Achievement in Sport and People Choice Awards.
Ratan Tata, Chairman of the Tata Group, was chosen as the Business Leader of the year.
Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan was adjudged as the winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Indian Music Composer and Singer A. R. Rahman posed for the press after winning the award for Outstanding Achievement in Music.
Indian entrepreneur Vijay Mallya received the Entrepreneur of the year award at the Asian Awards.
