Videocon Mobiles has launched a sport-edition rugged mobile phone for bike enthusiasts in association with Ducati. Called as “V6200 Ducati Edition Phone”, this handset is biker’s dream come true. The handset has complete Indian map information stored (courtesy Mapmyindia) and can be accessed offline (a-gps). In addition, it comes with an array of tools such as altimeter, compass, pedometer, UV Ray sensor, Barometer, LED Torch and Thermometer. Videocon calls this marriage of biking and mobility as ‘Mo-Biking’!

The phone has a rugged build quality with rubberized panels, screw-framed body chasis and steel side skirtings. When you turn over the phone, you will be pleasantly surprised to see a customizable OLED screen where you can display few vital information. Also, you will find a 2MP Camera with video recording capabilities. The handset has a decent 2.4 inch TFT Screen with 3 preset modes such as Phone, Fun and Sports mode. 1030mAH battery provides ample talk time and stand-by time, but they could have provided even powerful battery as bikers generally go on long trips! You will get 4GB microSD card pre-loaded with mapmyindia maps for lifetime validity along with the handset. What’s interesting is that the presence of stand-alone keys for Camera, GPS, Sports mode and Dual LED. Ample short-cut keys!
