Movies Now HD TV Channel for Hollywood Movies in India Launched. The Times TV network has announced the launch of a 1080i HD English movie channel, Movies Now, for Indian audience. Currently, India has about 7-8 English movie channel options ranging from Star Movies and HBO to Sony Pix and Zee Studios. But none of these are showcasing movies in the HD format. With the growth of LCD Tvs in India, fan base wants more HD content on their screens. Times Television Network brings yet another uniquely positioned TV channel to urban India, Movies Now. This channel will give its viewers a whole new experience with stunning pictures in 1080i and awesome 5.1 surround sound. Viewers will get to watch the best of Hollywood in HD for the first time in India. Soon it is expected in Indian DTH like TataSky, Airtel and BIG. The channel has been launched on 19th December 2010.
