Sachin Tendulkar is the first batsman to score 50 centuries in International Test cricket, he made his 50th Test century at post tea session on the fourth day in Centurion under tremendous pressure, but India still had a big task ahead of them to make South Africa bat again.

Kirsten on Sachin: Sachin is the model, professional cricketer and he has been like that for many many years. Very privileged to be associated with him for three wonderful years. He just keeps learning something new every day. I still remember standing at mid off when he used to bat and it gave me a sign of what kind of a player he is. He just loves the game and the way he practices is the best lesson for all youngsters in the team. He doesn’t take even one ball for granted. He is passionate and emotional about the team doing well. The 50th century is an incredible individual milestone for him. He wants to make his runs in important situations and wants to make sure that the team is doing well when he is making runs. He is a professor in batting and understands every situation possible in a match. He sets himself up technically so well that he can play any type of delivery. He enjoys playing cricket everywhere around the world. He is recognized everywhere around the world. Right now, he is just enjoying his cricket and hence he is doing so well for the team now. He is a team person and he is simply incredible. The best tip I can give to any youngster around the world is to see the way Sachin prepares himself for a game – the way he prepares mentally and physically, giving himself the best chance for success. No one can guarantee success, but the effort that he puts in ensures that he is successful.
