Yuvan Shankar Raja (The youngest son of the music maestro Ilayaraja) a man from music family background will perform his first live concert in Chennai on 16th January 2011 in the eve of Pongal festival. Vijay TV a Star Network holds the rights for telecasting.

The show hosted by RJ/actor Shiva (Tamizh Padam Hero); would feature a long list of directors / actors who have worked with the protégé. Directors Vishnuvardhan, Selvaraghavan, AR Murugadoss, Linguswamy have shared their experiences of working with Yuvan. His siblings Karthik Raja, Venkat Prabhu, PremG, Bhavatharini & Vasuki Baskar share childhood memories with Yuvan

As a part of the event a promotional music video “I will be there for you” sung and composed by Yuvan produced by Vijay TV. It will be a part of the promotions, directed by Vishnuvardhan (Billa director) and shot by Nirav Shah.

The concert “Celebrating young and fresh music” will feature Shreya Ghosal, Shankar Mahadevan, Karthik, Haricharan, Harish Raghavendra, Andrea, Rahul Nambiar, Vijay Yesudas, Tanvi, Madhumita, Suvi and Bela Shende performing popular hits from Yuvan albums.

Also there is a special re-mix section with two popular Kollywood stars. For the first time Yuvan would perform live with his father the maestro Ilayaraja.
