Angry Birds is a popular game involving birds trying to rescue eggs from nasty pigs. The game is available for smartphone platforms, Windows, Mac OS X and PlayStation 3/PSP. Now, 20th Century Fox has partnered with Rovio Mobile to create an Angry Birds game themed on the Company’s upcoming animation movie – Rio. In the movie, domesticated macaw Blu along with best friend Linda is out in the wild of Rio de Janeiro to find Jewel – Blu’s female counterpart and one of his kind.

Rovio has announced that a new version of the game dubbed as Angry Birds RIO will be released in March this year – just a month before the movie RIO releases.
