Amazon’s new-generation Kindle
Amazon on Wednesday officially unveiled a next-generation Kindle that is what many tech pundits thought it would be: smaller and lighter, with a better screen and some Wi-Fi thrown into the mix.
The new e-reader comes in a couple of flavors, one with both Wi-Fi and 3G wireless for $189, and a Wi-Fi-only version that costs $139, some $10 less than Barnes & Noble’s Nook Wi-Fi. The new Kindles are available in graphite or white and ship on August 27, with Amazon taking pre-orders for both e-readers now.

Vijay, Madhavan and Simbu in Shankar’s 3 Idiots Tamil Remake? Vijay has been confirmed for the role of Aamir Khan played in original Hindi film. Madhavan has been chosen to do the same role again in this remake version also what he did in original, but he not yet confirmed. And for the third hero role it is Silambarasan aka STR confirmed. Initially, Jeeva was thought of doing the third lead but now Simbu was confirmed by Shankar.
Shankar has tweeted that Vijay, Simbu and Madhavan, along with Sathyaraj (playing the role made memorable by Boman Irani), will feature in the Tamil version. In Telugu, as per news available till now, Mahesh Babu will replace Vijay and Madhavan and STR are being retained for the Telugu also. And for music Shankar may have to leave A R Rahman out as he will be busy on his ‘Jai Ho’ World Tour all this year. Sources say Shankar has settled for Yuvan Shankar Raja this time.
