Avan Ivan a New Tamil Movie. The Movie stars Vishal, Aarya and Janani Ayyar in lead roles, and Movie is directed by Bala. Vishal plays a transgender in the film. Janani, who debuted in Kamal’s ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’ last year, is playing an equally important role in the film, and music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja.

The 56th Filmfare Awards are happening slightly earlier this year compared to the usual February date. But there is no doubt that the big films of 2010 will be hoping to bag the ‘black lady’ for their hard work with a competition between the Khans being very evident.
Shahrukh Khan bagged the best actor award at 56th Idea Filmfare Awards for his spellbinding performance in My Name is Khan. Critically acclaimed Udaan movie clean swept this year’s filmfare awards. It bagged seven awards in total.
Salman Khan Dabangg too is not too far away from Udaan in 56th Idea Filmfare awards. My name Is Khan bagged the most prestigious awards though. Kajol bagged best actor (female) award and Karan Johar got best director award.
Lifetime achievement award for this year was bestowed upon Prabodh Chandra Dey better known as Manna Dey in the Hindi Film Industry.

Sachin Tendulkar was declared the Castrol Indian Cricketer of the Year as well as the Castrol Test Batsman of the Year 2009 at the Castrol Awards for Cricketing Excellence held in Mumbai on Friday (28-January-2011) night.
He was also felicitated with a Special Award for his double record feat of becoming the first batsman to score a double century in ODIs and to score 50 test centuries.
Commenting on the award, Sachin said, ‘The Castrol Awards for Cricketing Excellence are really special. The Castrol Awards are the premier awards for Indian cricketers for over ten years now and what makes them special are that they are based on recognition by my peers – fellow cricketers who understand the game and the pressures that go into every performance’.

‘Yuddham Sei’ is an upcoming Tamil movie written and directed by Myshkin. ‘Yuddham Sei’ is made as a chiller movie which has director Cheran in the lead role along with debutant Dipa Shah. The interesting news in this movie is that there is only one track in this movie for which director Ameer and the Siren Neetu Chandra are dancing for this track adding spice to the movie.
