Storyline
Captain Jack Sparrow (Depp) crosses paths with a woman from his past (Cruz), and he’s not sure if it’s love — or if she’s a ruthless con artist who’s using him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth. When she forces him aboard the Queen Anne’s Revenge, the ship of the formidable pirate Blackbeard (McShane), Jack finds himself on an unexpected adventure in which he doesn’t know who to fear more: Blackbeard or the woman from his past.

2010 Top search in Google
It’s getting to be that time of year when we look back at the year that was and make lots of lists. The first one comes from search engine Google.
Here’s what Indians were looking for most in 2010
Most popular search term of the year : Songs
Most frequently searched brand name : Nokia
And Nokia is still India’s leading cellphone handset provider, though it better watch out for “Micromax mobile,” which was number two in the fastest rising searches.

The Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Cooperation runs online bookings for the Indian Railways, which is still the main form of transport for cross-country travel in India, as well as being the nation’s biggest employer.

Renault Fluence soon in India
Renault is betting big on India. The company may have floundered a bit with its strategy about the Logan in India, but along with its global partner Nissan, it is planning a salvo on the Indian market with its newest range of vehicles.
The first in the range of the new Renault vehicles to be introduced in India would be the Fluence sedan. The Fluence is a mid-size sedan which can be compared with the Cruze and the Civic in terms of size. However, the Fluence will most likely be priced more aggressively than the other two cars. The Fluence is designed by Patrick le Quement – the top design guy at Renault. Low slung in profile, the Fluence seems to have taken its design cues heavily from the very attractive Laguna.
South Africa captain Graeme Smith termed Sachin Tendulkar as “great ambassador of the game” and said his desire to become a cricketer got wings after watching the Indian batting maestro during his childhood.
Smith was a 11-year-old kid when Tendulkar first toured the Rainbow nation following the country’s readmission to the international fold after decades of isolation because of apartheid.
But on Thursday (16th December 2010), Smith will lead South Africa in the first Test against India at Centurion in what could well be Tendulkar’s last tour to the country.
“He (Tendulkar) is a world class player and a great ambassador for the game,” Smith said as he reminisced at an official reception for the Indian cricket team last night.
“As a youngster I watched the games and that’s where all my dreams started. You see the players (like Tendulkar) on TV and you think that I want to be like that one day, and here we are,” he said.
India is presently touring South Africa for three Tests, five ODIs and one-off Twenty20 International.
Nissan has launched the diesel version in the capital today. Micra diesel comes in two variant XV and XV premium. The Micra XV is priced at Rs 5.58 lakh while the top-end variant XV premium will cost Rs 6.04 lakk (ex showroom, Delhi).
The Nissan Micra diesel is powered by the same 1.5-litre engine as the Mahindra-Renault Logan’s. It is an eight-valve 1.5-litre dCi engine (code name K9K). This engine produces a maximum power of 63bhp and a torque of 160Nm@2000rpm.
