China pulled off another dazzling show within two years of the Beijing Olympics as it unveiled the 16th Asian Games(November 12 – 27, 2010) with a spell-binding and unique opening ceremony which had water as the overwhelming theme.
The skies over the southern city lit up with spectacular fireworks as Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao declared the Games open amid thunderous cheers from a capacity crowd.
The major part of the ceremony was held at Hai Xinsha, an island located on Pearl River, the third longest river in China which is the life-giver to the southern part of the world’s most populous nation.
The ceremony set the stage for 14 days of competitions in which over 10,0000 athletes from 45 countries would vie for the top honours.

Dell, one of the giant among the pc makers, has launched its Android-based smartphones- XCD28 and XCD35 in Indian market on Wednesday. Recently launched Dell smartphones are equipped with several stunning features.
The Dell XCD28 (shown in the picture below) is now available in India and costs 10,990 rupees ($248). It has Android 2.1, 2.8 inch QVGA screen, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, 3.2 MP camera and a micro SD card slot.

Smallest car(Wind Up) never seen
British constructor Perry Watkins drives in his ‘Wind Up’ mini car on a street in Essen, Germany, Monday, Nov. 8, 2010.
The car is listed in the Guinness book of records as the world’s smallest car with a license to drive on public streets. Just 41 inches high, 51 inches long and only 26 inches wide the mini always finds a parking space. It can drive 60 kph and even has security belts.
