Gitanjali Lifestyle Chennai International Fashion Week Season 3 will be held at Chennai from April 13 to 16, 2011. Top designers collections will be showcased during the four days.
Chennai International Fashion Week (CIFW) is fast becoming an attraction for designers regionally and internationally by delivering a multinational and diverse fashion experience. After the closure of the CIFW 2010 season, CIFW has established itself as a highly successful and widely recognized event providing a forum to nurture and celebrate the fashion industry in India and it’s neighbouring countries. Held at the Ambassador Pallava Hotel Chennai, over 25 designers, jewellers and brands were showcased from Srilanka , Bangaladesh , Mauritius , Singapore , Dubai and of course India.

Women’s magazine Femina – a joint venture between BCCL and BBC Worldwide – has launched its first regional magazine in Tamil.
Kollywood`s leading actress Trisha, who is featured on the cover of the launch issue, unveiled the magazine at a function held at the Park Sheraton in Chennai on March 24.

Nagachaitanya and Tamanna’s latest movie in the direction of Sukumar (known for Arya & Arya2) is titled as 100% Love. Allu Arjun is producing this movie with a hero other than heroes from his family as he believed that Nagachaitanya suits better for a romantic role like this one. Music for the movie is composed by Devisri Prasad and the music is planned for this month. The release is planned for April end.
