Vasantha Balan after the critically acclaimed hit Angadi Theru, has started his work on his new film Aravaan. The film is produced by T Siva of Amma Creations.

The film will have Aadhi of Mirugam & Eeram fame as hero while Dhansika, who debuted in Peraanmai, will play the female lead. Malayalee girl Archana Kavi of Neelathamara fame also stars in the movie.

Vasantha Balan who introduced GV Prakash, is once again introducing a new music director, playback singer Karthik, while Siddharth will be the cameraman.

Vasantha Balan speaking about his new film says, “Aravaan means a man who has all the qualities of a macho hero. It is a period film set in the 18th century and the story is based on the life and times of an ordinary Tamilian, and will have all the commercial ingredients.”
